SGS College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Bruno Lamb and Will Papp, who have both been selected for the England Under 17 Men’s Development Camps, announced this month by the Rugby Football Union (RFU).
Bruno and Will, both key members of the SGS College Male Rugby Academy, have impressed selectors through their performances across club and college rugby. Their selection places them amongst the brightest young rugby talents in the country and marks another significant milestone in SGS College’s ongoing commitment to developing elite-level athletes through our Male Rugby Elite Programme.
The England U17 Men’s Development programme is a critical step in the England Rugby performance pathway, providing emerging talent with top-level coaching, conditioning support, and exposure to the demands of international rugby. For Bruno and Will, this opportunity will allow them to showcase their abilities at the highest level, while continuing to benefit from the exceptional support offered by SGS College’s Rugby Academy.
Dan Cox, Head Coach of the SGS Male Rugby Academy, said:
"We are incredibly proud of Bruno and Will for earning this recognition. Their dedication on and off the field, combined with the holistic approach we take to player development here at SGS, has enabled them to thrive. We look forward to seeing how they progress in the England set-up and continue to develop within our academy environment."
This latest success highlights the strength of the SGS College rugby pathway, which works closely with professional partners such as Bristol Bears, offering young players a clear route from college rugby into professional environments.
SGS College wishes both Bruno and Will the very best for their time with the England U17 squad and looks forward to supporting them as they continue their journey within the SGS Sport pathway and beyond.
